這個由德國BSC Music出品的新世紀音樂精選系列從1997年第一輯至2000已4年推出了共6輯。BSC Music是德國一間專門出版發行New Age音樂的公司，在全世界New Age界都相當有名，旗下網羅了大批歐洲New Age界的知名音樂家。
這個系列原本只是在德國國內發行的，自99年第三輯起才轉為向全球發行，
名稱由原來的德文改為英文，
同時風格也作了調整︰順應回歸自然的潮流在原曲中加入大自然音效為背景，並且以四季作為選曲主題。

還記得我97年偶然碰見第一輯<天堂鳥>時，差點與其失之交臂，躊躇再三後是被其詩情畫意的寫意封面所吸引，抱著“封面這么漂亮，裡面應該也不會太差”的想法才買下來的。回家一聽立即被第一首恢宏的開頭震呆了，然後一首首風格各異但都百聽不厭的樂曲聽下來，全都把我陶醉得一塌糊塗──原來這世間還有這種音樂?!我從此便深深地愛上了Ginkgo Garden(畢竟是他首先把我整呆的),更深深地愛上了New Age音樂。
我便是由此進入魅力無窮的音樂新世界的。儘管後來眼界開闊了，更見識到Yanni、喜多郎等真正國際級音樂大師的非凡天地，但當初那一次的感動卻始終不曾忘記。現下我將這個系列誠意推薦給各位音樂愛好者，開闊自由的音樂最適合約樣開闊自由的你，希望你們也能和我一樣感受音樂的觸動。
