简介： 间谍若是被开除，他本人可不会收到人事部的解聘书，而是会被“Burn Notice”……

当特工Michael Westen在外执行任务时，突遭解雇，自此成了被人遗忘的角色。一时间，像是被国家和组织抛弃，银行帐户全部冻结，既无钱又无权的他，只好边做侦探，边调查自己被解雇的原因。

他利用自己的特工技能帮助当地警方解决棘手的案件，换取他们的信任，然后借警察的信息优势来进行秘密调查。当然，Michael也不是一个人在战斗!
