　　Paul Fenech终于将他自编自导自演的风靡整个澳洲的恶俗讽刺的电视系列喜剧Pizza and Swift and Shift Couriers搬上大银幕。这个饱受争议的系列剧描绘了发生在在Sunnyvale郊区虚构的住房委员会的公租房里的荒诞不经的故事。

　　故事发生在Shazza（Elle Dawe饰）得知自己久未联系的母亲病重，希望Shazza去Alice Spring陪伴她度过她人生最后的岁月。在母亲去世之后，Shazza发誓要遵从母亲的遗愿将骨灰带到Auers Rock。与她同行的还有傻乎乎的de facto Dazza (Jason Davis饰)，活宝夫妇Kev (Kev Taumata饰)和Vanessa (Vanessa Davis饰)以及逍遥的罪犯 Franky (Fenech饰)。

　　在电影里任何一个澳大利亚的部门都难逃成为Paul Fenech讥讽的对象。流浪者（懒惰的几维鸟？）、黎巴嫩的崇拜者、土著，甚至是总理在他眼中都有着一卡车的笑料。如果有点过分，那么就嘲笑他。

　　这部剧向来不循规蹈矩，而采用无厘头的方式让人捧腹大笑。在让观众感到惊讶的时刻加入搞笑的瞬间营造喜剧的效果。即使在布景已经十分滑稽的情况下演员还非常努力的夸张的搞笑，这样让人很不舒服。

　　这部电影对情节设计上的欠缺试图用笑料去弥补，但似乎做得有点太过了（编剧和造型师显得很多余，因为剧中大量充斥着脏词，并且每个人在每个场景中看上去都没有什么差别）。如果是和一堆笑点低的朋友抱着很低预期去看，也许还能乐在其中。正如片尾剧情一样，没有人从中学到东西，也没有人变得更好...生活就是这样。
