◎简　　介

　　精神病医院里，费舍尔医生（丹•史蒂文斯 Dan Stevens 饰）多次探访一名女精神病人安（米歇尔•道克瑞 Michelle Dockery 饰）并企图帮助。安向他讲述了在布莱那所美丽的大宅子里发生的诡异事件。1921年，年轻单纯的乡下女孩安来到伦敦应聘一份家庭教师的工作。因为前任家庭教师离职，雇主急需一名新人来全权照顾他乡下宅子中亡兄的孩子。安为男雇主帅气迷人的外表所吸引，答应下了这份工作并即刻起身前往。当她在大宅中工作了一段时间后，安发现，两名小孩迈尔斯和弗罗拉十分的可爱乖巧，欢乐共处的时光让她渐渐喜爱起这份工作。然而一件又一件诡异古怪事情的发生，让她发现了这两个孩子一直被一对男女缠身，而他们的真实身份竟然是已经死亡的贴身男仆琨特和前任家庭女教师泽茜。而众人对迈尔斯和弗罗拉成长的堕落和教育的漠不关心，终于让安决定担任起保护他们的责任…
