　　以处女作《亨利：连环杀手肖像》在美国打响了知名度的导演约翰．麦克诺顿，继续以其血淋淋的叙事风格拍了这部科幻恐怖片，虽然情节有点单薄，但特技镜头相当逼真，娱乐性还是蛮高的。故事讲述的是某星球异形因犯罪了要将其流放到地球，异形有了人类的躯壳后，虽然行为举止怪异，但是还是混迹于人群中成了一个连环杀手，另美国警方、FBI都苦苦查询不到案情的真相。本片通过异形人的视角来看美国当时的社会现状，也折射除了美国当时社会充斥着贫穷、犯罪、青少年道德缺失等等一系列问题。
