　　一条体型巨大的变异鳄鱼突然现身风影秀丽的小镇，兽性狂暴，见人就吃，整个小镇陷入一片恐怖。警长大卫开始进行调查，在实验室工作的妻子克丽丝的协助下，他们发现伤口是鳄鱼造成的。他们进入下水道后发现遭人倾倒的剧毒化学药剂，推断这可能是只变种鳄鱼，而且这怪物还在大量繁殖中。原想捕猎巨鳄的警察队反变猎物，队员惨遭狂野分尸，一个接一个血淋淋惨遭吞噬！另 一方面，同时镇上的药厂大亨维尼，处心积虑地要镇民卖房子，因而百般阻挠办案。村民成为灭口目标被沿途追杀，陷入被人鳄夹击的局面，就此一场惊心动魄的人鳄大战随即展开！
