　　重获信心的瑞克最终制造出超光速粒子仪，他和霍莉来到化石的发现地，准备进行时光旅行的测试。在有些神经质的威尔（丹尼•麦克布莱德 Danny McBride 饰）的带领下，他们划着皮筏漂流。不料一场强烈地震突然袭来，三人被狂卷的波涛带入一个未知的世界，一场充满惊险和刺激的探险就此展开……
