◎简　　介

　　某晚，供职于普林斯顿大学的太空微生物学教授海伦•本森（Jennifer Connelly 饰）被警察和几名神秘人物带走，与她一同前往新泽西林伍德军校的还有业界内无数顶尖科学家。原来，NASA在探测外太空时发现有一不明物体正飞速接近地球。不久，一个闪耀着白色光芒的物体莅临曼哈顿上空，并降落在纽约公园中央，百姓、科学家和军方将其团团围住。稍顷，一个与人类身形极其相似的外星人（基努•里维斯 Keanu Reeves 饰）以及身材高大的机器人出现在人类面前。粗鲁的人类完全浪费掉外星来客的友善，而等待人类的又将是怎样的命运？

　　本片翻拍自1951年同名科幻影片，并荣获2009年美国科幻与恐怖电影学院奖最佳青年演员奖（Jaden Smith）。
