　　400年前，沃克家唯一的一个孩子从海盗“辛格兄弟会”的屠刀之下死里逃生，并意外获得了一件刀枪不入的战衣，从此，专门惩奸除恶的“幻影侠”诞生了。一晃眼已是二十一世纪，克里斯（莱安·卡勒斯 Ryan Carnes 饰）是沃克家的第二十一代传人，为了躲避辛格兄弟会的追杀，他不得不离开了家乡，跟随养父母来到了美国。

　　长大之后，克里斯成为了一名法学院的学生，然而，将做律师视为毕生理想的他怎么也无法想到的是，自己即将肩负起整个家族的使命，成为新一代“幻影侠”。在颅骨洞里，克里斯得到了家族中代代相传的战衣，与此同时，辛格兄弟会的成员们杀害了克里斯的养父母，还将下一个目标放在了克里斯的女友蕾妮（卡梅隆·古德曼 Cameron Goodman 饰）的身上。
